Softball Recap: Northeastern Takes a Loss

If Northeastern was feeling good fresh off their 15-4 takedown of William Penn on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats came up short against the Susquehannock Warriors on Monday, falling 10-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bobcats haven't been shut out since back in March.

Northeastern saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alaina Dubbs, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Dubbs is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Susquehannock, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Northeastern will face off against Central York at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight. Susquehannock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
