Volleyball Game Preview: Dunbar Mightymen vs. Kelvyn Park Panthers

The Dunbar Mightymen will head out to face off against the Kelvyn Park Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Dunbar came up short against Collins and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Kelvyn Park challenged Clemente on Monday. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats.

Kelvyn Park easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16.

Kelvyn Park's victory bumped their record up to 13-2-2. As for Dunbar, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Dunbar was able to grind out a solid win over Kelvyn Park when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mightymen since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
