Football Recap: Sharyland Rattlers vs. Mission Eagles
If Sharyland was riding high fresh off their 35-14 takedown of Hanna last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sharyland Rattlers lost to the Mission Eagles at home by a 36-22 margin on Friday.
Despite the loss, Sharyland still got an impressive performance from Calvin Harris, who rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 44 receiving yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Francisco Gomez, who picked up 109 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Sharyland now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mission, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Sharyland will play host again on Thursday to welcome Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. As for Mission, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Vela at 7:30 p.m. Vela will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mission surely won't give up without a fight.
