Volleyball Game Preview: Ralston Valley Mustangs vs. Columbine Rebels + How To Watch

The Ralston Valley Mustangs will face off against the Columbine Rebels at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ralston Valley is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Ralston Valley and Chatfield meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Chargers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Mustangs have posted against the Chargers since May 12, 2021.

Meanwhile, Columbine entered their contest against Arvada West on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Rebels lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. Considering the last time the Rebels couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Columbine was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 25-23.

Ralston Valley's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Columbine, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 13-4.

Everything went Ralston Valley's way against Columbine when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Ralston Valley made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rebels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
