Football Recap: Parlier Panthers vs. Minarets Mustangs
Parlier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Minarets Mustangs 42-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 35-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
It was another big night for Torin Wolf, who threw for 295 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown for Minarets.
Parlier's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Minarets, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Parlier is taking a road trip to take on Riverdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Minarets, they will square off against Yosemite at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Minarets is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 36 points per game this season.
