Basketball Recap: Lucus Trombley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Peck over Armada + How To Watch

After flying high against Deckerville on Friday, Peck came back down to earth. The Pirates received a blow on Monday as they fell 52-38 to the Armada Tigers. The Pirates have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lucus Trombley, who posted 11 points and seven boards. Trombley continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Thomas West was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

Peck's record is now 1-3. As for Armada, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Peck and Capac will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Armada will take on Richmond in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will be up against the Blue Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 66.2 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
