Football Game Recap: Morgan County vs. Powell County

Powell County had a rough outing against Breathitt County last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Powell County took their contest against Morgan County on Friday 34-22. That's another feather in the cap for Powell County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

The win bumped Powell County's record up to 7-2. The defeat dropped Morgan County's record to 3-6.

After their clash against one another, the teams are taking a break from conference action in their upcoming games. Powell County will stay at home next week against East Carter at 7:30 PM. Both of those teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. As for Morgan County, they will go up against Sheldon Clark. Sheldon Clark are limping into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
