The Hume-Fogg Blue Knights will venture away from home to take on the Hillsboro Burros at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hume-Fogg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.

Hume-Fogg's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Maplewood with a sharp 8-0 victory. Hume-Fogg have beaten Maplewood the last nine times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Maplewood has come to flipping the script.

Hume-Fogg's offense was hitting Maplewood from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Clay Mullins led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hillsboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They skirted past Father Ryan 1-0.

Hillsboro now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Hume-Fogg, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Hume-Fogg suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Hillsboro in their previous meeting back in April of 2023. Can Hume-Fogg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
