Passers beware: Ed Smith came down with his first-ever interception on Thursday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made four total tackles and defended two passes, helping propel Pearland past Fulshear by a score of 52-28. Looking ahead, Smith and Pearland will head out on the road to face off against Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on the 6th. The Oilers are 8-1 against the Mustangs going back to September of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
