Volleyball Recap: Spectrum Sting vs. Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres

Spectrum's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres out 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Sting as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Spectrum who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 19-25, 15-10.

The victory got Spectrum back to even at 11-11. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Spectrum is on the road again on Tuesday to play Kimball at 7:00 p.m. Sartell-St. Stephen has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Woodbury on the 5th.
