Groveton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Farmington, who was ranked 24th at the time (Groveton was ranked eighth). Groveton narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Farmington 50-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since January 27, 2024.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pittsburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They breezed by Nute to the tune of 58-29 on Friday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Groveton and bumps their season record up to 8-1. As for Pittsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Groveton was able to grind out a solid win over Pittsburg when the teams last played on Monday, winning 48-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Groveton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
