Council Rock North waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Harry S. Truman Tigers by a score of 6-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 10-3 victory on Tuesday.

Preston Martin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kyle Book, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Council Rock North's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Harry S. Truman, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
