Mount St. Mary had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They blew past the Bishop Kelley Comets 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Mount St. Mary never let Bishop Kelley on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-23, 25-15.

Isabella Williams paced Mount St. Mary's offense, picking up 14 kills. Williams got some help from Jentri Denwalt and her 27 assists. Annabel Headrick controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Mount St. Mary's record is now 26-10. As for Bishop Kelley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 18 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.

Mount St. Mary will be playing at home against Oklahoma City S at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Kelley, they will be taking part in a tournament against Northside at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
