Recap: Boylan Catholic Titans vs. Rockford East E-Rabs        
        
		
            
 The Boylan Catholic Titans waltzed into their match  on Friday with nine straight wins  but they left with ten. They blew past Rockford East 62-21 at home. Boylan Catholic has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  matches by 24  points or more this season.
 Boylan Catholic had a senior duo take command as  Kaylee Harter  scored 15 points along with two  steals and  Lilian Esparza  scored 11 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Harter has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Alayna Petalber, who  scored 12 points along with five  assists.
 Rockford East lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Aubree Erickson, who  scored six points.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Rockford East  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only four  assists. They  were crushed by their opponents in that department as Boylan Catholic  racked up 20  assists.
 Boylan Catholic's victory was  their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 16-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points per game. As for Rockford East, they are  on a 12-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-14.
 Boylan Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against Harlem at 1:30  p.m.  on January 6th. Harlem will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 260th, while Boylan Catholic is ranked 54th). Rockford East won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Guilford at 10:00  a.m.  on January 6th. Guilford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
