Ethan Hammon leads El Capitan/Centennial Academy to victory over Seligman

El Capitan/Centennial Academy stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Seligman 65-43. The victory was nothing new for El Capitan/Centennial Academy as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Ethan Hammon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 29 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jairus Hammon, who scored 12 points along with three steals.

El Capitan/Centennial Academy pushed their record up to 15-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Seligman, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Capitan/Centennial Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Grand Canyon at 2:00 p.m. on January 13th. Grand Canyon comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Seligman, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Ash Fork at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Ash Fork is ranked 295th, while Seligman is ranked 299th).
