Rich Township is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Thornwood a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Rich Township Raptors will be playing at home against the Thornwood Thunderbirds at 5:00 p.m. Rich Township has given up an average of 6.6 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Rich Township fell victim to Bloom and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Blazing Trojan, falling 8-0. Meanwhile, Thornwood kept a clean sheet against Beecher on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bobcats. Thornwood might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by three goals or more this season.

Rich Township's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Thornwood, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6-1.
