Volleyball Recap: Hubbard Comes Up Short

Hubbard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Wortham Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Hubbard was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Hubbard's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Wortham, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-13.

Coming up, Hubbard will challenge Italy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wortham, they are taking a road trip to challenge Axtell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
