Football Game Preview: Medina Valley Panthers vs. United South Panthers + Official Tickets

Medina Valley are taking a road trip to challenge United South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Medina Valley will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Medina Valley is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest win since October 5, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 38-35 victory over United. The win almost wasn't to be: the Panthers were down 28-14 in the second quarter.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Xavier Gonzalez and Jorge Luna. Gonzalez had a great game and rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, Luna was balling out in the loss, throwing for 316 yards on 24 of 37 attempts, while also punching in one score on the ground.

Meanwhile, United South got their first taste of in-conference action on Friday and they started things off strong. They took down Del Rio 28-10. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won five in a row.

Medina Valley's record is now 6-2. As for United South, their record now sits at 2-5.

Medina Valley strolled past United South in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 35-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for Medina Valley since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
