Flora and Teutopolis pushed the score to 12-8 the last time they played Teutopolis, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Wolves' pitchers stepped up to hand the Wooden Shoes a 2-0 shutout. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 12-8 loss the last time these two teams met.

Flora's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Teutopolis, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flora will welcome Farina South Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Teutopolis, they will face off against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
