Baseball Recap: Chesapeake Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Chesapeake was the 4-3 winner over Northeast when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Chesapeake fell just short of Northeast by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Cougars fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Eagles since on Friday.

Chesapeake's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Northeast, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.
