East Syracuse-Minoa hadn't done well against Fayetteville-Manlius recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Spartans blew past the Hornets 31-6. Considering the Spartans have won seven matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

East Syracuse-Minoa pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.0 points over those games. As for Fayetteville-Manlius, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Coming up, East Syracuse-Minoa will venture away from home to take on Whitesboro at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Spartans 8.6, the Warriors 13.5) so any points scored will be well earned. Fayetteville-Manlius does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
