Preview: Grand Saline vs. Lindale
Grand Saline is 0-7 against Lindale since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Grand Saline Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Lindale Eagles at 7:15 p.m. Grand Saline's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
Last Tuesday, Grand Saline didn't have quite enough to beat Cumberland Academy and fell 2-1.
Meanwhile, Lindale unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Chapel Hill by a score of 4-3.
Grand Saline dropped their record down to 3-8-1 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Lindale, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5-1.
Grand Saline suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Lindale when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Can Grand Saline avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
