Orange County is a perfect 10-0 against Charlottesville since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Fighting Hornets are taking a road trip to challenge the Black Knights at 6:30 p.m. Orange County's pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so Charlottesville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Orange County proved they can win big on Monday (they won by nine) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Monticello a 1-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the Fighting Hornets in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Charlottesville was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to Western Albemarle.

Charlottesville dropped their record down to 3-14 with the defeat, which was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Orange County, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.

Everything went Orange County's way against Charlottesville in their previous matchup back in April, as Orange County made off with a 14-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fighting Hornets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
