Zach Statz Turns in Season-Best  Effort
 On Saturday, Haxtun got the W thanks in part to  Zach Statz playing the best football he has all season. Statz rushed for 141 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 72-yard run.
 The  win was  the tenth in a row for Haxtun, bringing their record for this year to 10-1. Statz and Haxtun will be playing in front of their home fans against Mancos  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday.

Haxtun Wins Tenth-Straight Thanks to  Ryland Wolff
  Ryland Wolff was instrumental in extending Haxtun's winning streak to ten on Saturday. Wolff made two total tackles. The  performance  also marked the most  rushing yards (193)  he has had since back in November of 2023. His longest rush was for an incredible 97 yards.

Filla Posts Huge Game in  28-6  Victory
 Akron picked up their fifth consecutive win   on Saturday thanks in part to  Anderson Filla. Filla turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 85 yards and a touchdown.
 Sedgwick County had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw  Filla it was a similar story. When  Filla last faced the Cougars  back in October, he rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown.

Caleb Poss Makes It Two for Akron
 Another Akron player making an appearance on this list is  Caleb Poss. He picked up 54 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 On the year,  Poss  has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 22.5 receiving yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 5.8  receiving yards per game.

Haxtun Wins Tenth-Straight Thanks to  Coleman Firme
 Haxtun picked up their tenth consecutive win   on Saturday thanks in part to  Coleman Firme. Firme did his part (and then some), rushing for 29 yards for the 'W'.
 This season,  Firme  has averaged 24.9 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after 11 games last season,  he was only averaging eight  rushing yards per game.
