Volleyball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Falls Lake + How To Watch

Falls Lake came tearing into Thursday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Oxford Prep Griffins 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Falls Lake was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-10, 25-7.

Falls Lake can attribute much of their success to Tess DeZurik, who had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces DeZurik has posted since back in September.

DeZurik wasn't the only good servers: Falls Lake was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 19 consecutive matchups.

Falls Lake's record now sits at 21-4. As for Oxford Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.
