Lion Storylines

* What will life after Isaiah Briscoe look like for Roselle Catholic? The current Kentucky freshman point guard helped put Roselle Catholic on the national map and produced 20.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in 2014-15. He was a first team MaxPreps All-American and the NJ.com New Jersey Player of the Year.

* Not many coaches have had more success against Hall of Fame St. Anthony (Jersey City) coach Bob Hurley than Boff. His Roselle teams have knocked Hurley and St. Anthony out of the postseason three years in a row and the Lions also notched a regular season win over the Friars in 2014-15.

* With big men like Chris Silva (now a freshman at South Carolina), Ganlandou Cisse (LIU Brooklyn) and Pierre Sarr (Monmouth) on the roster a year ago, Boff had the luxury of bringing freshman phenom Reid along slowly. Now a sophomore, Reid will be expected to take on a much more significant role for the Lions. Kansas, Maryland, Syracuse and Villanova are among the college powers to extend early offers.
