Basketball Game Preview: East Dragons vs. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions

The East Dragons will venture away from home to take on the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 14.

Last Saturday, East was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-53 to Green.

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-46 heartbreaker at the hands of Holy Name. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lions came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Green Wave are ranked 483rd).

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for East, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.
