Volleyball Recap: Timothy Christian Takes a Loss

Timothy Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Glenbrook South on Friday. The Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trevor Munk paced Timothy Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Munk got some help from Owen Wise and his 18 assists.

Glenbrook South was led to victory by Logan Ball and Isaiah Paek. Ball had 12 assists and three aces, while Paek had eight digs and one assist. Those three aces gave Ball a new career-high. Tony Ganbat also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Timothy Christian's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Glenbrook South, their record now sits at 9-6.

Timothy Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Naperville North on the 26th. As for Glenbrook South, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Maine South on the 26th.
