McKee Vo-Tech had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Bowne on Thursday. The Seagulls were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Wildcats. Considering the Seagulls have won 12 matches by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was McKee Vo-Tech's tenth in a row) raised their record to 19-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Bowne, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 12 games and leaves them with a 15-3 record.

Coming up, McKee Vo-Tech will host Hunter College on the 8th. The Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Seagulls' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Bowne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
