Soccer Game Preview: El Primero vs. East Palo Alto Academy

The El Primero Lobos are taking a road trip to square off against the East Palo Alto Academy Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Wednesday, El Primero and The Nueva School finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, East Palo Alto Academy entered their tilt with KIPP Esperanza on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Eagles. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

El Primero's draw gives them a new season record of 8-6-2. As for East Palo Alto Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

El Primero skirted past East Palo Alto Academy 2-1 in their previous meeting on January 8th. The rematch might be a little tougher for El Primero since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
