Basketball Recap: Kanab Has No Trouble Against Draper APA

Kanab had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Draper APA Eagles with a sharp 58-34 win on Saturday. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 20 points or more this season.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Samantha Kartchner, who posted 15 points and eight boards. Kartchner has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 17 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Vanessa Moctezuma, who had six points.

Kanab's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Draper APA, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-7.

As of now, neither Kanab nor Draper APA have any future games scheduled.
