Football Recap: Woodland Hills Falls to North Allegheny in First Game of Season

Woodland Hills unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the North Allegheny Tigers by a score of 28-26 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Tigers are ranked tenth).

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodland Hills will take on Penn Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Allegheny, they will face off against Gateway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
