Basketball Recap: Melrose's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Melrose won the last time they faced Power Center Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Melrose Golden Wildcats came out on top against the Power Center Academy Knights by a score of 47-34. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Golden Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Melrose's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Power Center Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Ridgeway the next time they take the court. Melrose will head out to face Ridgeway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Power Center Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
