Softball Game Preview: Kathleen Red Devils vs. Oasis Christian Lions

The Kathleen Red Devils are taking a road trip to challenge the Oasis Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kathleen has given up an average of 15.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kathleen is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They came up short against Santa Fe Catholic, falling 21-0.

Meanwhile, Oasis Christian lost 24-8 to Celebration on Monday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oasis Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shianne Dunkle, who scored two runs and stole six bases while going 1-for-2.

Even though they lost, Oasis Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in five consecutive contests.

Oasis Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Kathleen, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
