Soccer Game Preview: North Central vs. Lugoff-Elgin

The North Central Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Lugoff-Elgin Demons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Monday just wasn't the day for North Central's offense. They fell just short of Columbia by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Knights have struggled against the Capitals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

Meanwhile, Lugoff-Elgin came up short against River Bluff on Tuesday, falling 9-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Demons were already down 6-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Shiv Maisuria, which was the first he's scored this season.

North Central now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lugoff-Elgin, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
