Andover proved they can win big on Monday (they won by seven) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Methuen Rangers, sneaking past 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Golden Warriors have posted against the Rangers since May 9, 2018.

The victory got Andover back to even at 5-5. As for Methuen, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Andover will welcome Tewksbury Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Methuen, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Archbishop Williams at 11:00 a.m.
