Volleyball Recap: Eads Beats Otis for Their Third Straight Victory

Eads hadn't done well against Otis recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Eagles blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Eads not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Otis between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-17.

Eads' offense was headlined by Kara Wilson and Anna Wollert, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Jordynn Turcotte and her 17 assists. Finally, Wollert was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

The victory (which was Eads' third in a row) raised their record to 13-6. As for Otis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.
