Basketball Game Preview: Montclair Mounties vs. East Orange Campus Jaguars

The Montclair Mounties and the East Orange Campus Jaguars will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Having struggled with four losses in a row dating back to last season, Montclair turned things around against Cedar Grove on Tuesday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 27-24 victory from a begrudging Mounties squad.

The win got them back to even at 1-1.

As for East Orange Campus, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished 3-14.

Montclair ended up a good deal behind East Orange Campus when the teams last played back in January of 2018, losing 48-34. Can Montclair avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
