Softball Recap: Ludington Sets Scoring Season-High Against Montague

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ludington). They blew past the Montague Wildcats 21-13 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Ludington and bumps their season record up to 3-12. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Montague, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Ludington will face off against Cadillac at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Montague, they will challenge North Muskegon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
