Palmetto's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Saint Stephen's Episcopal by a score of 2-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Tigers were the better team in the second half.

Leah Higgins and Olivia Worley scored both of Palmetto's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, everything went Bradenton Christian's way against Canterbury on Thursday as Bradenton Christian made off with a 6-1 victory. With the Panthers ahead 4-1 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Palmetto has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Bradenton Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5-3.
