Basketball Recap: Northeastern Clinton Comes Up Short

Northeastern Clinton lost against Beekmantown back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Northeastern Clinton Cougars took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beekmantown Eagles. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northeastern Clinton now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Beekmantown, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeastern Clinton will square off against Ticonderoga at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Beekmantown, they will face off against Northern Adirondack at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northern Adirondack will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Beekmantown surely won't give up without a fight.
