Baseball Recap: Colfax Takes a Loss

Colfax came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Oakmont Vikings, falling 16-5.

Drew Stowers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Garrett Lewis was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Colfax's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Oakmont, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

While Colfax had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
