Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Almont). They blew past the Mayville Wildcats 11-1 on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on four straight.

Almont pushed their record up to 7-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Mayville, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-9.

Coming up, Almont will head out on the road to square off against Algonac at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mayville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
