Basketball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Heritage Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Victory Christian Academy). They breezed by the Heritage Christian Eagles to the tune of 77-48 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Patriots as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Victory Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Orlando Little, who posted 23 points. With that strong performance, Little is now averaging an impressive 15.9 points per game. Another player making a difference was Javan Erwin, who scored 16 points.

Victory Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Heritage Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victory Christian Academy will face off against The Fletcher School at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage Christian has already played their next matchup (against Millers Creek Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
