Gloucester County Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over The Christian Academy. The win continues a trend for the Conquerors in their matchups with The Christian Academy: they've now won four in a row.

David Dellarova spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 19 Ks. Those 19 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Hunter Burger, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases.
