Softball Recap: Beaumont United Comes Up Short

Beaumont United was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Orange-Stark Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-4 back in January.

Beaumont United's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Orange-Stark, their record now sits at 9-2-1.

Coming up, Beaumont United will face off against Nederland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Orange-Stark, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-11 tie against Kelly Catholic on the 21st.
