            Softball Recap: Cascade Bruins vs. Glacier Peak Grizzlies        
        
		
        
        
            Cascade and Glacier Peak faced off in a Battle of the Bears  on Friday. The Bruins fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of  5-4. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Bruins in their meetings with the Grizzlies: they've now lost seven in a row.
  Tessa Hahn was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.  Marisa Molina also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Glacier Peak, they moved to 12-5 with that  victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cascade will square off against Kamiak at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Bruins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 6.6  runs per game this season. As for Glacier Peak, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Arlington  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
