Football Recap: Milano Eagles vs. Somerville Yeguas

Milano lost against Somerville back in September of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Milano Eagles took a 34-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Somerville Yeguas. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Yeguas recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Ian Teague continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Somerville, rushing for 167 yards on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 91 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. That's the most rushing yards Teague has posted since back in August. Keith Crawford also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Milano's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Somerville, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Milano does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Somerville, they will square off against Center Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Somerville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 25.9 points per game this season.
