The San Fernando Tigers will take on the Pacifica Tritons at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
San Fernando's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past North Hollywood 10-0. The match marked the Tigers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Alex Torres
The result came thanks to Alex Torres's shutout, as he gave up just five hits and racked up eight Ks. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because San Fernando is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 2-3 otherwise.
At the plate, Marcos Serrano was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Ramon Amezcua was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
San Fernando hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Hollywood struck out eight times.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pacifica, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Foothill Tech on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Tritons in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won six in a row.
Devon Wilkes was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
Wilkes wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was JJ Carmona, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Max Bautista also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
San Fernando is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. Pacifica's win bumped their record up to 11-4.
San Fernando came up short against Pacifica in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 9-5. Will San Fernando have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
