The Fort Worth THESA Riders will take on the East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
East Texas Homeschool Sports will be up against a hot Fort Worth THESA team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Riders claimed a resounding 57-8 win over Gold-Burg.

It was another big night for Caleb Bright, who rushed for 157 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and one score. Those 157 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Fort Worth THESA was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 222 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 206 rushing yards in three consecutive games.
Fort Worth THESA didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jessa Winstead and Marcus Bright. Fort Worth THESA received some extra help from Garrett Jones, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Texas Homeschool Sports). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Trinity School of Texas 84-46.
Fort Worth THESA better keep an eye on Jadon Pace. He was instrumental in East Texas Homeschool Sports' win, rushing for 130 yards and three TDs on only seven carries, while also throwing for 246 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Chris Mason was Pace's top target, picking up 45 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Special teams played a big role in the game for East Texas Homeschool Sports, adding 30 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Pace, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Fort Worth THESA's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
Everything came up roses for Fort Worth THESA against East Texas Homeschool Sports in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 46-14 victory.
